Working with the Academic and Technical Team within the Department of Arts you will be primarily responsible for supporting and managing Art Conservation areas, but may be required to work across a number of creative areas within the faculty. You will provide specialist technical support in the art conservation studio and laboratory environment, with special emphasis on the safe management of laboratories, equipment and chemicals. In addition you will run workshops and produce demonstration and reference materials for students.

You should have comprehensive knowledge of current technical practice relevant to Art Conservation. A team player, with excellent interpersonal skills, you will have experience of developing and delivering demonstration activities to provide excellent student experiences. Keeping up-to-date with current and forthcoming technical developments with special emphasis on Art Conservation in support of learning, teaching, research and enterprise activity in the faculty is essential to be successful in the role.
